New editor for Series B
Gareth completed his PhD in probability at the University of Warwick in 1988 before holding academic positions at Nottingham, Cambridge and Lancaster. He is now professor of statistics and director of CRiSM at the University of Warwick. He has been awarded two RSS Guy medals (bronze in 1997 and silver in 2008). He has research interests ranging across applied probability and statistics, including theory, methodology and applications of Markov chain Monte Carlo and related computationally intensive methods, inference for stochastic processes, Bayesian statistics and infectious disease epidemiology. |
