Policy priorities of UK Statistics Authority set out in letters to the major UK political partiesThe policy priorities of the UK Statistics Authority have been set out in a letter (available from the Authority's web site) to the leaders of the UK's major political parties. The letter sets out that: "The Statistics Authority believes that building confidence in the trustworthiness of official statistics should be at the heart of the programme of action which the new House of Commons will – we assume – want to put in place, in order to restore trust in Parliament and Government."
