At the end of 2010, Mario Cortina Borja will be retiring as the book reviews editor for Series A of the journal and Significance.

Suggestions or nominations are therefore encouraged and welcomed from members of the Society. The position is not greatly demanding and no particular qualifications are required for it: youth and enthusiasm are as equally valid as age and experience. Although knowing people with statistical expertise in a wide range of fields would be advantageous, a small group of contacts are on hand to provide advice and assistance.

If you are therefore interested in performing this valuable service for the Society, for up to a maximum of four years, please contact Martin Owen at the Society’s address by 31 August.
